Artist's Description
This is a painting that I did after me and my boys were very ill for over a week. When I got better I wanted to paint something cheerful and happy. I tried to keep this soft with a dreamy feel. Hope you enjoy.
About Susan Jenkins
I have been painting and drawing from my earliest memories. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be an artist. I graduated from the Universtiy of North Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and was awarded the "Most Outstanding Artist" title upon graduation. Although I work in many different mediums my favorite is pastels. I love the vibrant color that can be achieved. When I was a child I was so in love with color and would get so excited over a new box of crayons, colored pencils, markers, or watercolors. I get equally excited today when I see all of my beautiful pastels laid out and waiting for the next creation. I believe the results that can be achieved with pastels produce some of the most beautiful art ever...

Susan, this is really beautiful! Well done! I think I have a pastel painting on here by the same name! Totally different, though!

This is a beautiful scene. I can smell fresh mountain spring air looking at it. Great job Susan.
