Painting Inspiration: This painting was inspired by a beautiful field of sunflowers near my home. While all of the flowers were bright and beautiful, there was a particular group that seemed to be looking to the back part of the field, as if they were waiting on something special. Often there is more beauty and reward when we look towards new and unexpected places. I pray this painting blesses your home and it also makes an excellent gift.

I have been painting and drawing from my earliest memories. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be an artist. I graduated from the Universtiy of North Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and was awarded the "Most Outstanding Artist" title upon graduation. Although I work in many different mediums my favorite is pastels. I love the vibrant color that can be achieved. When I was a child I was so in love with color and would get so excited over a new box of crayons, colored pencils, markers, or watercolors. I get equally excited today when I see all of my beautiful pastels laid out and waiting for the next creation. I believe the results that can be achieved with pastels produce some of the most beautiful art ever...
